My new hobby

So, I've started making these Nursery paintings for fun.  I've sold a couple. I'm not painting to make money, I just really enjoy doing it.  If I have an empty canvas all I can think about is what I want to paint.  I don't really know what I'm doing, something that probably makes my mom, who is a real artist, laugh.  I don't know what I'll do with them, but I better think of something or Jared might make me stop. 

Lydia's 5!

Lydia turned 5 on Friday.  She was the cutest little " birthday girl." Aunt Tami got her this cute shirt.  She was so excited to wear it that she put it on as soon as she got out of bed in the morning and referred to herself all day as "the birthday girl."

We don't do birthday parties every year, so I wanted her 5th to be special.  She wanted to have a dance party.  We were lucky enough to get our friend Rob an interactive DJ to help us out.  He was amazing.  I was worried about everyone participating but he kept them entertained. Most of the adults were wishing we were five again.

We're ready for a Bear Lake Summer.

We spent the night Friday night at Bear Lake for a Home Owners Meeting.  It was too cold to be at the beach but the kids still thought they were in heaven.  They begged the whole time to go down to the water, so just before leaving we drove down and let them get their feet wet.

I love that these two are getting to be better friends everyday.

Some Pictures!

Our ward had a no-rules pinewood derby last week.  Grayson and Lydia were really excited to make and race their own cars.  Luckily we have a PaPa Jerry that is really good at making cool pinewood derby cars.  I remember him making a Ghost-buster car for Billy and a Shamu car for Toby.   Jared and I actually helped Lydia with her princess car. It wasn't fast but we kept telling her it didn't matter because it was the most beautiful car there.  Grayson's car won second place and he couldn't be happier.  He ran around shouting, "I won, I won, " the whole night.

Clarissa's Blessing

We blessed Claire a couple of weeks ago. Jared gave a beautiful blessing as always. I wanted to get a few close pictures of her in her dress, but of course I didn't.  My mom has made each of the girls  their own special blessing dress. Each one is amazing. Maybe I'll post some pictures later. The picture below of Jared and I with claire makes me laugh because it looks the same as Kate's blessing picture we use in the "about us" at the top of our blog.
