An Announcement!

No,I'm not having another baby.
I am a major Craft Blog Addict. (That's not my announcement either.)
I didn't want to send people back to my family blog to look at all my projects so I started my own craft blog. It's called At Second Street. Anyone that knows me well, will know that has reference to where we live without giving detail.

here's the link AT SECOND STREET

I didn't say anything at first because I'm kinda embarrassed about it and I've posted most of the same stuff here. I was recently featured by a few other bloggers and have decided to let my secret out. I would love to have my good friends behind me. So check it out and be a follower. If you want you can make fun of me, my family already does.

ALOHA!

We spent a fabulous week in Hawaii with Jared's family. We are all still struggling to return to real life. I know you feel really bad for us. Here are some of our highlights.

We spent the first half of the week at Turtle Bay. It was beautiful and very relaxing.

Grayson found this "popcorn ball"
Lydia making her own lei.

The kids loved the Polynesian Cultural Center.

best smoothies ever!
If your wondering how we survived with a two year old, here's how. Kate spent a good chunk of time watching videos on my iphone.

The whole group at the temple.

Hanuama Bay
We had the neatest experience at Hanauma Bay. Grayson learned to snorkel and did really well. It was so fun to go out with him and watch him. I think I spent more time watching him than looking at the fish. Also there were lots of sea turtles in the shallow waters. So everyone was able to get a good look.

We spent the last few nights at the Royal Hawaiian aka The Pink Hotel.
I LOVE this hotel

A Canoe Ride

On the last day to kill time before our flight we hiked to Manoa Falls. It's one of my favorite hikes. It's in a RainForest, the whole hike is one beautiful scene after another. We forgot how muddy it can be and were covered in mud the rest of the day since we had already checked out of the hotel. It was still worth it.

Kate fell asleep on the hike.
I don't have pictures but Utah State "just happened" to be playing Hawaii the Saturday we were leaving. Of course we all went and Cheered on the Aggies for the first three quarters before we had to leave to catch our plane.
